Off the coast of North Rustico, just minutes from Cavendish, you can fish for mackerel and cod in abundance. The most popular spot on the island for deep sea fishing is arguably this strip along the Gulf of St. Lawrence, which reaches New London, which is nearby.
North Lake

It is referred to as the "Tuna Capital of the World" for good reason! If you enjoy tuna fishing, this is the place for you! North Lake is a beautiful place to spend a few days and offers multiple tour companies. It is on the east coast of the province.
Georgetown

At the entrance to Georgetown's harbor, spend the day deep sea fishing. In addition to fishing for mackerel, you'll also have the chance to set lobster traps and spot seals! If you're staying in Charlottetown, this is a great day trip that takes only 45 minutes.
